Hello. I am trying to verify a site in google webmaster tools, however the site is on an awful CMS, with no access to source code. In short, I can only edit the page title, meta description, meta keywords, and body. i also cannot upload the html verifier because all files default to a .aspx extension. i am well aware that this is a terrible cms but its what i have to use for this site. any tricks or ways to verify from within the body tags? thanks!
You can use the code as title (filename) like http://domain.com/36grty547657html.aspx on wordpress.com you can do that, google accept it or try some rudimentary injection like description" /><meta name="verify" value="code as meta description and see if the cms makes something like <meta name="description" value="[description" /><meta name="verify" value="code]" /> out of it ?
