Why are you leaving all that money on the table?

Ok, this is obviously a rhetorical question. Chances are, you don't realize you're leaving money on the table. Right?

But if you're not optimizing your website design, if you're not testing the most effective ad placements for your website.... there's 99% chance you're earning just a fraction of what you could be earning. This is especially true if your websites are availed with at least the 1k daily pageviews.

How you can explode your adsense earnings, starting today!

It's really simple. In fact, it's so simple that I know for a fact most of you won't bother acting on this information, which is a shame. Quite often, ad revenues can be exploded with a legitimate white hat technique that all professional marketers rely on: split testing.

Using this powerful technique, you will actually use your available traffic to optimize your available traffic, rather than relying on your personal tastes. And that's how you get impressive results!

You have to let your website design itself through split testing.

The core concept of split testing is simple enough that anyone can get into it. You just have to run two versions of your webpages for a while, until you see which performs better. Keep the winner, improve the loser. Rinse and repeat.

Doing so, your earnings will surely increase, and if you have enough traffic for testing quick, you will get substantial results fast. Your website design will be a function of what works best, rather than a function of what you like best (more often that not, it's not the same thing).

Yeah you already told us this in a previous post... Optimising the Adsense on your web pages, i.e. moving them around, trying different sizes etc is old news... If people don't know this already there's no hope is there..? Google already told us this several years ago though...

That thread was censored during the evening because was "encouraging thread bumps" and it had "excessive commercial intent" :-(

I'm still making a report on the subject of A/B testing ad placements, although I will speak no more of it here.
Nor will I reply to this thread as often, since I don't want it to get censored too.

Otherwise, I'll be happy to answer any doubts that may occur to people......
geez I hope this statement doesn't qualify as "encouraging thread bumps".

I really like this forum, but sometimes I cannot help but feeling the mods jump the gun too quickly.

Do you use simple adsense custom channels with a bit of PHP to do your A/B testing, or do you use something else?

Just as you described, yeah: simple and effective.

There are a bunch of websites that provide free split testing tools, as well!

So basically without all of the world vision speech you are saying "do adsense optimization" and on top of that you are not even saying ad Opt. You are basically just talking about ONE of the 50+ things to do with adsense optimization.

The mods toasted your topic because you were trying to sell something in the last topic.

    @laceygirl:

No, the mods toasted my topic because they assumed I was trying to sell something.
I was just doing a bit of market research... there's a world of difference.

Also, the bottom line I'm talking specifically about is split testing ad placements.
The king of optimization techniques, the one that can make a world of difference.

The one technique that all serious marketers use, and most novice marketers don't.
From what you've just said, I assume you aren't much into this technique. Are you?
