COLUMBUS - Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel suspended for two games and fined him $ 250,000 on Tuesday for violating NCAA rules by not inform the school about the information received that involves two players and questionable activities involving the sale of memorabilia. Tressel also will receive a public reprimand and should apologize to the public. NCAA is investigating and could reject the sentence imposed themselves and provide additional sanctions. read more..
While I really dont like the fact that players are selling stuff and coaches would ignore it, I really don't think that someone that sells merchandise like them, should have more of a punishment than students like Bama's Jones and Ingram that took "presents" and didn't get suspended at all.
