Good idea, potentially 'hot niche' there, although I'm not sure how it would be monetized ;)

    Monetization: AdSense

Is this a good idea? Indeed it is if you make more money than the purchase price of the domain. In reality you don't even have to buy a domain if you have a decent, already authoritative domain with lots of links pointing to it.

The downside: It's only a trend and there's no telling how long it can last (weeks, months, years)...

The upside: There's more to gain by experimenting with this "keyword" that's all over the media right now. Many have gotten quick riches by targeting only trending keywords and hot topics.

Interesting... I hadn't thought about that. I might check to see what's still available. Still, not sure how to monetize it...

Interesting concept, if you want to build content around the topic and capture traffic. With enough eyeballs, you could start selling ads. But as with all of these niche traffic sites, it takes a lot of work to curate the content and traffic initially. If occupy fizzles, then you are left with a website you invested a bunch of time in that isn't doing anything.
