So now my question comes is that what does GOOGLE means by over optimized sites , what are the factors that define a particular site as over optimized ?? Secondly ,Article submissions - My second question is regarding article creation and its submissions. Do we need to submit a mere / single / one article to HIGH PR one article site or it can be submitted to many directories ?? IF you answer is yes then i would like to have your advice too that how may submissions does GOOGLE prefers as quality while submitting same article to distinct directories . Thirdly , During last and past few days i got to see that there was tremendous downfall in rankings and traffc for all my client's website. Hence, can one help me to know the absolute reason for the same .
Well over optimized sites are penalized by google because google is targeting relevancy now with its algorithm and avoiding cloaking highly to maintain this relevancy... The best practice for article writing and submission is always 100% unique article submission to each directory....
I think Over Optimization is all about Link building - using mass blog comments, forum profiles, article spinning etc. And OnPage - Using irrelevant keywords, spammy keywords, keyword repetition in titles and meta, high keyword density etc.
most likely its cuz of low quality link building - links on crappy blog networks (bmr, linkvana, linxboss, etc.) and crappy sites. google can detect these kinds of low quality links maybe not perfectly today but SOON. google is not that dumb and sooner or later they will devalue all unnatural link building tactics.

wow 90% of people on this forum answering random sh*t just to raise their post count. Over optimization is mainly refering at your anchor text when backlinking your money site. Be sure to target your main keyword with not more than 10-15%, around 30% your secondary KW's , 20/30% Click here/here etc.. Keep in mind that spammy ranking era is over , focus on quality over quantity , stay away from cheap and spammy backlinks , they can only hurt your serp.
