    I have been searching for a good link checker management program and wonder if any of you have used Trellian? I am listing their advertised benefits. Feedback would be appreciated. :)

    You have to pay $299 as part of the SEO Tool software to get linkchecker, I don't know if you noticed it - I didn't until I looked at the price list!

    here is a little shameless plug. Our free link manager is web based, will do pretty much everything you mentioned above, oh yeah, did I mention it is free?

    Dude,

    what if I have 2000 link partners to check

    do you have version that will do batch?

    ok maybe you do , I just signed up to try it


    wait your thing only checks individual pages?

    not whole sites , right

    does trellan do whole sites , thats something that is worth paying for

    dude. Sorry, I just wanted to say dude. :)

    You can import all of your links, which I am sure you have discovered already.

    The system will check for the existence of a link (to a page or a domain) on a specific page. It will also give you information like the number of links on that page, what number your link is, the anchor text, PR of the page (well that used to be more useful) and more.

    We don't crawl a site for the links, it is really a link manager. Having sites that get pounded all day by bots, we settled on a non-crawling system to keep other admins and their servers happy. Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
