traveling to london

    hello guys,

    im traveling to the UK next week. i have a pirated copy of windows on my laptop. if i use it there to login to internet will it be a problem to me??

    No, most likely not. If Microsoft had a way to catch people pirating their software from simple internet use, not only would many more pirates be in jail but I'm sure there'd be some kind of riot over privacy concerns.

    It will be as much of a problem in the UK as it is anywhere else in the world.

    If you are talking about border control then they are much more concerned about your intent of overstaying in the UK or criminal activity whilst in the UK than if all the software on your laptop is legit.

    Don't worry about Windows. 8 times I've been to London and they have never turned my computer on.
