Hello everyone, I am very new ( website about 1.5 months old ) and currently my site is really only having 20-25 uniques a day on the high end. I have submitted to everyone, done all the SEO stuff and still it seems im just waiting for traffic. Does anyone have any advice? I tried exchanging links, no PR, I tried everything and still seem to be up ^&%$ creek without a paddle. Thanks in Advance Ladies and Gentlemen!
1.5 months isnt a long time at ll SEO takes time and patience get one way links from forums and blogs, write articles, setup a blog on your site to keep the content fresh
Wow I love this site! I have tried Article marketting but my site isnt really a site abut articles! For example the site is saveabuck(dot)net and I have a featured monthly destination that I can publish but I dont have anything else! I have tried building backlinks but It seems like its impossible for me to get out of PR0! Im making some ok money off this site but its still a Pr0. Blows my mind! Thanks again for your comments!
Write travel articles. Travel reviews. Tips on how to find good hotels. That kind of thing. People LOVE tips lists. And there are a ton of them you can do for a travel related site. Top 10 things to see in ...pick your city/country. Top 10 Castles. Top 10 beaches. Top 10 romantic hotels. 10 ways to save money while traveling in Europe. You have a LOT of options and they'll be quick to write.
BTW - you may want to check how your site loads in different browsers because I just loaded it and the header and left side bar were ok, but the main content was knocked way to the bottom of the left side bar so I had to scroll all the way down to see it. There are also some random characters showing in the top left corner.
Vegabondette You are great Thanks so much for your help! Im using Quickblogcast so I am limited with what i can do! Do you have any advice?
Do a search on this site for article marketing and you'll find tons of article directories listed. Start writing articles and submitting them. In the about the author space throw in a blurb about you. Something along the lines of "Your Name is an expert in budget travel and enjoys figuring out how to get the best experience for the lowest price. Check out her site saveabuck.net to see her latest travel deals." Then hot link your website name and key words back to your site. That will both build backlinks and generate traffic.
I have created over 20 websites successfully and sold them. I found SEO on travel websites for some reason to be the hardest. I have had so many travel websites and once they get going they are a cash cow with adsense and mixing in vacation leads. I have had even smaller destination areas take almost a year to get on the first page of google.
What would you recommend for me?? My goal is to do the same eventually? You seem very knowledgable aswell!
How many pages do you have? Try to add more content, and wait wait and wait, keep working on your website doing linkbuilding ways... Your website is newbi, it needs time... My 2 cents, Jakomo
