Does anybody have any travel tips for Rome? I'm going in October and haven't been before, so any advice on where to go/where to avoid would be much appreciated. My girlfriend booked the hotel, just outside the north of the city, so I think we're fairly close to the Vatican... I'm not in the slightest bit religious but any history, lesser known marvels and good food are definitely on the "to-do" list.
the best tips you can find is in TOP 10 ROME byeyewitness travel try to find in restaurant dish Saltimbocca, its absolutely delicious... make an effort, speak italian, at least try to... you will love i!
Ciao Zulka Ah, Top 10 Rome, gotcha! And I looked up Saltimbocca, sounds good! I'm listening to some Italian phrase mp3s as I'm working... dove e il bagno, per favore?
