Hi, Just been explaining to a friend how google sand box new web sites for a unknown timescale. He said that why not lauch a new site and time how long it takes to in the serps and then we know how long sites get sand boxed for. I explained that not all sites are sand box sites are on the same time scale and he asked if i knew or could find out of people with experience of sand box sites in the 'travel industry' ? Anyone? I guessed and said i thought sandbox for travel related sites could be 12 months because its such a big online industry ! anyone have experience?
I put up a splash page for 12 months launched site in October 2006 get PR4 at last update and then we were rolling http://www.dataplacetravel.com But yes it takes 12 months really to establish all in
hey britishguy, would you suggest this is the best way to produce a travel 'related' site? add a single page to a domain , submit to google and then sit back for 12 months untill you are our of the sand box? If this is the case you might aswell buy a load of domains and set this up on them all and then sign on the dole for 12 months ... lol
