Travel Logo for Ferries Site - $25

Hi,

Need a logo. Prize will be $25 paid by Paypal.

Logo is for a new site which will be promoting Ferry tickets from the UK.

I have an idea already ... (sorry - but if you feel you have a better idea, go for it!).

My idea ... Rather than a photo of a ferry, instead what appears to be a hand drawn outline of a ferry going throught the water. Somewhere on/in/around/about that image, the text "Ferries.co".

Colours ... well blue would fit obviously, being about ferries ... but want some complimentary / contrasting colour also.

Looing for this logo completed by the 24th September unless I see something fantastic before then.

cri8bat - Many thanks for the speedy entry. Looking more for an outline I think, perhaps sweeping lines. The logo should have the feeling of movement, sweeping motion.
Text should be sans-serif, easy to read.

Getting there, but I'd loosen up a bit, get more abstract, and tie the design in more - it looks like 3 seperate elements at the moment.

finalstraw - Lovely designs, and doing your own thing - Great work. I prefer number 1 ... but as the .co extension is so new, feel that I have to reinforce it in the logo, so I'm happiest then with number 3. Is the word "ferries" in number 1 ever so darker than in number 3? If is, would you mind doing the same on 3? Thanks!
