i never found a straight answer about this, so my problem, i need to make a website that needs 20 articles, that means up to 100$, is not much, but i don't have any money right now, so i traslated a page from my country(Romania), in english, and i checked with copyscape and found nothing that is copyed, that is my worry, that i put some work on the site, and suddenly gets unranked, that do you think?
Translated content is always considered as unique.... There are many blogs out there who just translate news and post and have good Page Ranks..... So no worries.....
It's considered unique but it's not ok to translate someone else's content. You need permission from the original author.
Those sites are not duplicates since they’re in completely different languages. But even if they were duplicates, Google doesn’t de-list sites because of that. They may just list only one of the sites, but they wouldn’t remove them both. The search engines just don’t want multiple instances of the same thing showing up in the search results – they do want one of them though!
