I have noticed that some of my sites that have dropped in serps this summer, have a "translate this page" link in Google serps. The problem is that Google is trying to translate my pages into Romanian, but my site is already in Romanian. I am sure that this penalization is related to the fact that Google is not able to identify corectly the language of my site, because only the home page has the "translate this page" link. All of the subpages are considered to be in Romanian, and they still rank very good for different keywords. The main page has dropped for main keywords from 5-10 to 350-500 since this link had appeared. I do not have any English text on my homepage (only Romanian). I also have added this lines in the source code: <html lang="ro"> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Language" CONTENT="ro" /> The homepage was indexed again with this modifications, but no results. Any ideeas?
