    I posted this in the adsense forum but didn't get any input. How long would you consider transitory to be?

    5. Prohibited Uses. You shall not....
    (vii) "crawl", "spider", index or in any non-transitory manner store or cache information obtained from any Ads, Links, Search Results, or Referral Events, or any part, copy, or derivative thereto;

    This is basically saying that I can't store/cache any of the above information for an extended period of time (non-transitory), right?

    So, if I can store transitory data, how long would transitory be? Hours? Days?

    Not from my understanding at first glance. Crawling and spidering are "transitory" by definition. They are covering that situation and also saying you can't store any information that doesn't actively search in the ways we just mentioned. Bottom line, they are trying to say "any way you think of trying to store information you shall not store information" and not "if you store it then you can only store it for 5 hours."
