    +1 to what billaaa777 said.

too much restriction and changes sometimes may result negatively.

Hi Congrats on the forum upgrade and thanks for the new features in the marketplace - it's fantastic for buyers and must have been a lot of work :)

On the new system I had a "did not buy" because the seller's paypal account was closed half way through the auction - I bought the site and got an unpaid (-1) anyway.
Another I won and the buyer had already sold at BIN by PM - can't remember the details.

I'm not going to bitch about a free forum that's made me a lot of money, I just wanted to ask if you were aware that the new feedback system isn't infallible?

    Thanks again,
    Paz.

Yep, of course the new system isn't infallible if people don't use it (the sellers in your case).

I'm back on digitalpoint after a long time of absence or inactivity. I actually want to start posting again and be active. Don't know much about the new changes but they seem to be important, they sure make things a lot more fun, I also love the new design, very user friendly and way more web 2.0 like...

As for the itrade, well, its true, spammers with itrades were all over the place, don't really understand how the new system actually works, guess I need to make a transaction first.

I have linked PayPal in DP account and I made 8 - 9 transaction. Still yesterday it seems to be fine, but today it shows "PayPal not linked", any bug in the system or I have to add PayPal account again.

When you set up your sale thread, did you enable instant pay for them? It's a checkbox.

Damm rahahm33, you got two likes for your post, and I did not get any for the original.

    Good for you!

The marketplace category I used most often, is way down in the number of advertisements since the new rules went into affect.

I would say at a minimum, at least 70% less advertisements this week, verse what it was before.

But, I could be wrong, it could be 90%.

I guess they do not care about the marketplace anymore, which is too bad, I used to really like it.

Many small internet marketers are going to cut down on their visits to DP because of this, but I guess they change their philosophy, and only want the big rich guys now.

Which is too bad, because all the big guys where once little guys, and many of them got the information and services they need at DP to turn into big guys.

We aren't trying to cut anyone out... Anyone can use Instant Pay as long as they have a PayPal account.

True, but most DP members can no longer post ads looking for the services that they need, which is cutting them out.
