yea if I ant charge recurring I would take like 10usd in instant payment ( token ) and then give them a coupon for 10usd off our service so at least it gets run through digital point instant payment for feedback
I don't care... although customers might think it looks fishy since they can see the dollar amount of your transactions (see screenshot here).
Hi, I have 100% positive iTrader (227) and I have paid everything that I have bought here but I have done that via PMs where sellers sent me their PP details. So, if you take a look at my account, I have 47 "unpaid transactions" while in reality I have paid them all. So, when you remove iTrader - will I start with 47 unpaid transaction???? Thanks
But anyway I guess most members will land up in this scenario as most of us started noticing this after some good time system was implemented. So most members will have many unpaid transactions. So buyers will get adjusted.Does this mean the basic purpose of system being setup is getting diluted?
When are you going to remove iTrader ? MY clients are getting a message saying that "iTrader is going away please read this post:" . And this thread seems to have started in the year 2010 lol. Any update ?
So, what you are saying is that there is no way you can reset my "unpaid transactions" in the new system so that I at least can start from 0 and not -47 even if I had paid them all?
Check this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2433601 where I bid for it, paid for it outside DP ( Was not aware of the click here to pay link) and got a refund after fighting with the seller. Now, after this episode, the new system is almost favoring the scamming person instead of helping people. Is there a way for atleast for moderators to add/remove stampings when there are disputes and refunds etc. ?
@digitalpoint Hey mate, Just wondering your thoughts.. by the looks of the screenshot you posted: Here it would seem a move to XF is going to happen sooner or later.. now myself and many others are quite worried about where XF is heading.. as Keir is hardly ever seen, and updates / releases seem to be few and far between and all this talk that they are running out of funds.. Ive got several ideas / upcoming forum based projects and have had my heart set on using XF for them but of late the negative feedback / negative vibe around XF has me a little worried.. Really just wanted to know your thoughts as your one of the biggest board owners that will be moving to XF (as far as i knew several months back after you showed a screenshot of DP using XF)... interested to hear your thoughts on XF anyways... i know it's a solid product but all the things being said (whether any of it is true or not we will never know).. but yeah was just hoping to hear from a experienced webmaster like yourself.. specially when you have a massive / successful board at stakes. Regards, Darren
The stuff I'm doing will run on XenForo, but I'm doing it in a way that it will also run on more or less any framework... so it's not only for XF. That being said, XF seems like a good product to me. There are certainly some things I don't love about it, or features I think are missing, but the same can be said about anything.
What about the Itrades which we have currently? it will be removed all and start from 0? or there will be any history that this member has XX amount of itrades before the new system launched etc? - Imran
You can take a screenshot of your iTraders and save it to your computer if you want to keep a record.
So it will be removed as what you meant, the perception here at DP is that if a member has the high amount of positive itrades is considered to be a genuine buyer/seller. So that is why I ask, can't you make the itrades as the record in our profiles?
There are lots of Indian buyers and sellers. We are also doing payment through local bank transfer. What about its rating?
They should contact the bank they are doing the transfer with and ask if the bank has a rating system they can use.
