Hi all.. Transformers was a weird movie.. BUT, Transformers 2 is going to be worse. The concept is preety hard to digest, but one can do it in the light of the fact that its a sc-fi movie.. But the 2nd part has things in which the bad guys to the good guys ratio is like an elephant to an ant. its going to be a movie worth watching not for the story.. but to understand whats going on in the head of the director... what say??!!
The story is bad! Too many unimportant side scenes, specially with the parents. And who the Heck gave Bay the idea of that twin car?!??! They suck much! I hate watching them. It's much better if they stuck with developing Optimus Prime's or Bumble Bee's story... I hope the next one will have a much better movie. This is the problems to sequels... they don't live up to the greatness of the 1st movie!
I haven't even seen the first one - my friend told me the second one was good though, so I might as well check it out... i dont really get into sci-fi movies though
I don't like these kind of movies so i'm not interrested in watching it. in my opinion i think these movies are made for kids, and if they like it ... very well
Go and catch it.. its on now.. Do rate the movie, there are still some "grown up" kids on the block who like these kind

I agree with the OP... the movie was too confusing and ridiculous at one point... there were so many decepticons falling from the sky and very few heroes... I do not know where the ones which fell from the sky went. There were so many nameless transformers this time...so many of them. The constructicon was cool, the biggest one..but that was only during the first 10 minutes..Optimus rocks big time and bumble bee did not have too much of a role at all.. he was in his usual state for most of the movie...no action from him either... over all characters have been wasted with a complicated story. unless you know the story before hand, don't attempt to watch it in theaters..you will spend most of your time thinking who this is or what this is...
They are obviously trying to cash in on the huge franchise and who can blame them. Sequels are often just an excuse to grab more money. First movie was good, dunno how the OP can call it weird. Its good vs evil... simple as that. It follows most other sci-fi movies with a cool idea (tranforming aliens with humanlike qualities) it has a strong story of good vs evil with a hint of a love story. CGI was fantastic, acting was fine. Theres some strange people about.... What do you expect, some deep meaning 10 minute monologue about the plight of the Palestinians to make it more real.. Jezuz. The most important thing is that it had Megan Fox in it of course..
I've only seen the first one and a was one of the worst films I've ever seen so i will definitely not be seeing the second one.
i wanna ask a simple question, anyone with a good answer how can a car transform into something 6 times its size with 20 times the amounts of bolts, screws etc LOL not to bee nitpicky but its like a goldfish in a bowl transforming into an elephant i don't see the hype in this movie at all but i guess its hollywood "don't sell the steak, sell the sizzle" sorta thing
I didn't know that this movie was receiving such disappointing reviews. Now it made me more curious and eager to watch it.
I haven't seen the movie yet, the trailer is nice...but usually any 2nd or 3rd parts of a movie suck. The only second part that I liked was Men in Black...
I just watched it today.... Doesn't understand the entire movie ... in my opinion, the first one is better.
