Transform a $3 pen into a $200 pen! Mont-Blanc!

Purchase a new Pilot G2 Pro ink pen from any local store (most larger chains carry this pen) and Mont-Blanc Rollerball refills from your local office supply store. The medium point refills work best. You must ask for Rollerball and not Ballpoint refills or else this wont work.

Cost:
Pilot G2 Pro (ink pen) = $3
Mont Blanc Rollerball (refill) = $10

This is what the items look like:

After you've purchased the items, disassemble the Pilot G2 Pro (ink pen) and remove the ink stick. Place it alongside your Mont-Blanc refill.

Notice that the length of the ink sticks are close to the same size but that the Mont-Blanc refill is just a little bit longer. This is an easy fix, simply use a knife or razor blade to shave a small amount of plastic off the end of the refill as shown below:

Now reassemble the Pilot G2 Pro (ink pen) with the modified Mont-Blanc refill instead of using the original ink stick. The G2 has the same feel as a standard Mont-Blanc pen but is agille and light-weight. The ink is the real beauty of the Mont-Blanc and is the only major difference between the $200 pen and the $3 pen. Enjoy!
