Transferwise and alternatives?

So I am sure some of you must have heard of transferwise, and probably used it too. I have used it as well. Previously, it used to be insanely fast with the transfers. Since the Brexit, they seem to be struggling. I have had my payments stuck for like a week or more now... I do assume it is due to Brexit. Anyone has any other ideas about it?

Any alternatives to them that are still doing bank transfers globally within 2-4 days?

 

I know about TransferWise because a16z is an investor. For small transfers, use something like Xoom (owned by PayPal). For larger amounts, use SWIFT transfers (they cost a little money but are fast).

 

Isn't it possible for you to use simple SWIFT or IBAN bank transfer from your bank account?
