I was hoping someone here might be able to give me a quick bit of advice. I help run a blog that is fairly new, but had a couple of articles do really well on Digg and Reddit. As a result, both articles were linked really well, and ended up getting a PageRank of 5 in the last update. The problem is, my main page, the root of the site, is still only a page rank of 3. Is there any way for me to sort of propagate the rank up the chain so that my main sites pagerank reflects the content within it?
I hope you have the link to main page on the page with the articles. If not add main page link to each page that is ranked. it will help bring rank up on first page. If the pages already have link to main page it will help bring the main page up. That might take longer because the main page does not have all the links to it.
