has anyone here transferred a domain from name.com before? And what were the steps? I am transferring to namecheap, and I have started the transfer, but it seems to be taking longer to complete the steps. It didn't take nearly this long to transfer a domain from godaddy to namecheap a week ago. So i have started the transfer, entered the epp/auth code, and now its been on "Auto verification of transfer request initiated" for ever. But it says "Transfer in progress for *DOMAIN*. No known issues at this time." i havent gotten any emails regarding it from name.com, or anything, so im wondering if i have missed a step or something? is there something i have to do at name.com? I unlocked the domain, and cant see any alerts of any kind on the site either. anyone done this befrore from name.com?
i tried to transfer domain from name.com. i login to my account at name.com and look all over in the control panel. i didn't find where i can do that, only to transfer to another user at name.com
I guess you shouldn't transfer from name.com Its better than GoDaddy Upto you.. I love Name.com and I think its way better than GoDaddy.. Think twice before transfer.. You can search on google Good Luck!

I don't really like godaddy or name.com, i love namecheap anyways, nothing has happened yet in my transfer. I figured it was due to the private whois being on, so i disabled it, and had namecheap resent the verification email and such. hope i can move my domain to namecheap asap :d
