I have had registered few domains with a company.
now i want to transfer it to another host but i dont have the special code or the security code.

Is there any other alternative method of transferring my domains?

Ask your registrar for the authorization code - you'll need it to transfer out.
If you registered them recently, you probably won't be able to transfer them out until 60 days after the registration date.

the registrar went out of business? I would expect ICANN to arrange for the domains to be transferred to another registrar - e.g. registerfly are going out of business and godaddy has taken over all their domains.

    what were the domains?
    where were they registered?

    NameCodex, that would take ages!

    PoySian,

Check the whois and see which is the original registrar of the domain name. I am sure that the new company must have been a reseller of any registrar.

Contact the registrar directly and see how they can help resolve this issue.

If you need more help them PM me the domain name so I can check the whois and advice.
