No, GoDaddy does not offer transfers the same way as the others.

You will need to obtain the new owner's name and email address at least but by right you need all the information which include address, contact number and so on.

Once you have those information, log into your GoDaddy account and go to 'My Account' and then 'Manage Domains'. Then select the domain name in question and click 'Account Change' or Initiate Account Change. Then just fill in all the details about the party you are transferring the domain name in there. Make sure the name and the email address are correct.

From there onwards, the new owner will need to accept the change and that's it. It will take a few hours or a few days depending on how fast the new owner accepts the change.

I wouldn't recommend this, but all you really need is the email address of the other person.
I was told to "make the rest up" once.

I have both bought and sold. The only thing you must have is the valid email address associated with the buyer's account. The rest you can make up. You will be required to fill in all the blanks.

Why people don't want to provide information that can be found in a public whois I don't know, but many buyers do not want to share personal info.

You can push a domain name from one Godaddy account into another, but it is complex and tricky.

Sorry, I dealt with this once but I'm unable to reproduce my steps to accomplish it.

    Your Content...
I wish you COULD remember how you did it.
I have tried and tried to do a direct push within Go-daddy
but have never succeeded, so I always end up doing the
    "change account information" procedure.

But it would be so much more convenient if I could just do direct pushes.

I hope someone comes along with this information.

I know this is an old thread, but if you are pushing to another GoDaddy customer, all you need is his/her customer number and email address. Once you initiate the transfer, it gives you an option to use the current owners info. That way, you don't have to make up details.
