I posted a thread on this same issue in 'general business' and didn't realize this should have been where I listed it so I apologize but I really need an answer.

I have a website which I have sold (first time) and I have to transfer site and domain to buyer.

I know how to transfer the site ofcourse that is easy however I have to transfer domain name ownership over to him and my registrar (crazydomains.co.uk) says in their FAQ -

I don't want to pay £90 to transfer that is crazy.. Does anyone know another way?

if the second buyer is in crazy domains itself, then "push" the domain name to their account at YOUR registrar.
transferring cannot be done for a while if virtually any part of the domain name registration info has changed within the past 60 days.

For a quick fix,the buyer can set up a hosting somewhere, then redirect the domain's DNS to point to that hosting account.crazydomains has a lot of complaints and problems.

I set up a new account and transferred the domain to the new account so I will give the buyer access to new account.

    Thanks for the input falsebook!

When a domain name change ownership within the same registrar then it is called "domain name push"..

what you have to do is just push the domain and it is the buyer who should update his identity to identify ownership.
