Transferring contents to a different forum, possible?

    Hey guys, if I got a forum running on phpBB3 right now and I wish to change it to VB in the future, is it possible to transfer all the existing posts and topics over to the new board? I know it's like two different software, just wondering. :)

    vBulletin comes with software to do just that, and it works very well too. I moved two phpbb over to vBulletin using their impex system, which comes with it, and it worked fine - imported posts and PMs and everything, just not avatars. :)
