Transferring Blogger blog to Wordpress

I have a blogger blog with more than 3000 posts and i wanted to transfer it to wordpress, will that be a good Idea, i get more than 15000 UV per day, will it effect my traffic. I heard somewhere it can kill all the traffic and posts will go duplicate in google. Please suggest what to do?

 

I think you can keep in blogger, because blogger is safe for visitor....
