    I didn't know this:

Four domains were transferred to Namecheap today. I saw that they were expiring on February 5. Today is February 2. What will happen to the transfer? Can I get my money back if the transfer fails?

In general, transfer orders take 6-7 business days to complete. Hence, if your domain is expiring during the transfer process then the transfer process will definitely be affected. Hence, it is better to renew the domains at current registrar and then transferring them away after 60 days since their renewals.

Moreover, transferring away from GoDaddy takes more time in compared to transferring away from Directi. I were you, I would keep them with GoDaddy and then would transfer them away after 60 days counting from the renewal.
