Transferring $642 to China - Fastest & Reliable Mode of Payment?

Discussion in 'Payment Processing' started by Radz, Jul 8, 2012.

    Hi

I need to Transfer 642 US$ to China, What is the fastest and Reliable Method in terms of Time/Fee?

    1) Western Union
    2) Money Gram
    3) Bank Transfer (TT)
    4) PayPal

I have used Western Union in past, its reliable but Fees are higher, probably will be trying MoneyGram or TT this time.. Bank Tasnfer (TT) might take huge fees & time in processing TT, I'll probably avoid it.

Kindly suggest Payment processor with fastest processing time & Estimate Fees.

    Thanks

    Don't use PayPal.
Use WU - the fees are worth it.

I've heard western union is used by a lot of scammers, but if the person you are sending money to is trusted shouldn't be a problem.

I would have used paypal personally.

money gram have less fees then paypal.
    4.4% + .30$ for 750$ = 33.30$
    and moneygram have = 4.4$
    westurn union have also less..

and I love their conversion rates :) they are paying on market rates. and paypal paying less then market rates..

You have to measure the time it takes for the transfer to be completed and the fees. Personally, I'd go with WU. I don't wanna recommend Paypal because of the crappy system they have now. (It's even crappier now compared to when I was still working as an associate for their mother company)

I would highly recommend Paypal. It is by far the safest way to make a payment online, especially that you are sending the money out of the country.

sending $642.00 USD to China Using Paypal would cost $25.34 USD and the recipient will receive $616.66 USD source :PayPal Fee Calculator

And it may put a hold on the funds if the recipient's PayPal account is new.

But with all that said, I'd still recommend using PayPal specially if you are sending money and you gonna get something in return.

    1) Western Union
This is what i will prefer, instant payment transfer to person only you need to visit there office to send the payment to person, much better, paypal is also good but both of you must have paypal to instant transfer money....

The limitation would only occur if the person doesn't receive that large amount of funds often. It doesn't matter if it is new too often. If it is a couple days old and the guy gets a couple hundred dollars worth of transactions daily then he'llbe fine.

Wow it has been over 2 years and people are still replying :D In meantime i has send Payments to china multiple times. Used Bank Transfer once, it was cheapest way (30$ processing fee on 2000$)

Will be transferring 4500$ to China next month. I will prefer Bank Transfer :)

    Thanks everyone for suggestions
