Transfering zip of whole wordpress site?

    I sold a site and am trying to install it on a new server. I tried to install a blank wordpress and then import my blog but I dont know the database info and I cant get wordpress to install.

    I changed my admin password and then FTP'd my whole site into a zip- is it okay to upload that to the new server and will everything stay the same, even the database?

    Will there be any way for the new user to access my old passwords?

    You don't need to install a blank wordpress on target site. You can follow this easy tutorial to transfer wordpress - Transfer WordPress Site To New Host

    Let me know if you don't understand something.
