Hey Ive got a site ranked high on google, but im thinking of moving the site to another host.

If I do it quick enough will Google notice or not?

    Thanks

Moving it is fine, If google does not see it for the time it is down it is not discounted, google will be back. Build the site at the new location, point the dns to the new site and you whould see little if any down time.

No reason for any downtime. Like Umbrella mentioned, just get the site ready on the new server and change DNS. You can speed up DNS propogation by setting the TTL for your DNS zone to 1800 (30 minutes) about 12-24 hours before the final DNS move, if you control your zone.

A little downtime shouldn't make a difference anyway. I've never had Google strip me of any rankings for being down a few days.
