Can I register the domain name at one registrar, and then transfer the domain name to another registrar whenever I want, for example, after day or two?! Thank you.
I think you can do it only after a month or so. i.e. after 30 days. Check it here: http://domain.ezspl.com. I use them.
No, there is a 60 waiting period to transfer it to another registrar. You can push the domain to another account within the same registrar.
60 days as stated above. ICANN regulations... and it's contained in the USER AGREEMENT or TOS that you agree to when you register the domain.
ICANN Policy on Transfers: Upon denying a transfer request for any of the following reasons, the Registrar of Record must provide the Registered Name Holder and the potential Gaining Registrar with the reason for denial. The Registrar of Record may deny a transfer request only in the following specific instances: 1. Evidence of fraud 2. UDRP action 3. Court order by a court of competent jurisdiction 4. Reasonable dispute over the identity of the Registered Name Holder or Administrative Contact 5. No payment for previous registration period (including credit card charge-backs) if the domain name is past its expiration date or for previous or current registration periods if the domain name has not yet expired. In all such cases, however, the domain name must be put into "Registrar Hold" status by the Registrar of Record prior to the denial of transfer. 6. Express written objection to the transfer from the Transfer Contact. (e.g. - email, fax, paper document or other processes by which the Transfer Contact has expressly and voluntarily objected through opt-in means) 7. A domain name was already in “lock status†provided that the Registrar provides a readily accessible and reasonable means for the Registered Name Holder to remove the lock status. 8. A domain name is in the first 60 days of an initial registration period. 9. A domain name is within 60 days (or a lesser period to be determined) after being transferred (apart from being transferred back to the original Registrar in cases where both Registrars so agree and/or where a decision in the dispute resolution process so directs).
After registering or renewing any domain, one will have to wait for 60 days before transferring the domain to the gaining registrar.
What if, for example, I sell the domain to someone else before the period of 60. days pass, must then the buyer opens the account at the same registrar in order for me to transfer the domain to him?! Also, can I put the domain name on some online auction before this 60. days pass, to put, for example, on sedo.com, or similar?! Does anyone have any experience with this, was someone sell the domain on domain auctions like sedo.com before this 60. days was pass, and what was his experience regarding transfering the domain to buyer in this case?! Thank you.
As long as you push the domain between 2 same registrar, its ok. For example you register a name in GoDaddy, 30 days later, you got a buyer for that name, you can push it to the buyer's GoDaddy account, but not into his DynaDot account for example.
