    Hi
im hosting one of my major site on godaddy hosting account and i would like to check the possibility to move it to a new godaddy dedicate server my questions are -

    1. does moving my site can damage My SEO although both are on godaddy ,
basically the only thing is changing is the I.P no ?
    2. is it matter if i will leave it on the hosting account , i mean whats the advantage of the dedicate server VS. hosting account ?

    3. is there any easy procedure to do that ?

    thanks for the help

    1. There are no proof or evidence that change of hosting should affect your SEO ratings. However, there are those who beg to differ and claim that it does indeed matter. Google has never said anything in regards to this and I can only offer some common sense. As long as you move to a better/fast hosting solution, you are in line with Google's aim of taking the best suited content to their users, as fast as possible.

So, as long as your new dedicated is faster, better than your current solution you should be good. Of course Google knows that people will change host for some reason and allows for that. If you keep switching several times a month, now that's a whole different discussion as that might be some suspect things going on. But one or two moves per year, is more than fine.

As long as your move to better server and within the same country. There is no issue. If you move to other country then use google webmaster tool and set target audience as your country.

Noting to worry mate, if such thing is there then no one will change there server and the internet itself become less active.
