I am not entirely sure about this, but if you get a namecheap account, there will be a link inside your account for transferring domains. They pretty much walk you through it. I haven't done it myself, although I tried. I couldn't transfer my domain though, as it was due to expire within 7 days, and apparently it can't be expiring within that time period.

Anyway, just log into your account and look for the transfer domain link!

No, when you log into your Namecheap account, look at the toolbar across the top. There is a link there called "Transfer Your Domain", the 3rd one over from the left. When you hover over the link, the drop down menu will come up, and the first link down says, "Transfer Domain To Namecheap".

Once you are there, they will pretty much walk you through what you need to do.

    I hope this helps.
