I am wanting to find out how you can transfer my domains to a different company as the one I have got now aren't very responsive on emails.

    www.freeparking.co.uk

Please could anyone tell me the best one for buying domain names?

How do you transfer them over?

I recommend namecheap. My transfers went well.
First, create an account with NC or whichever you choose. Next, make sure that all contact details are up to date and match what is listed with your previous registsrar (freeparking.co.uk). Next you'll need the AUTH code; this should be provided in you user control panel. If it isn't, I'm afraid you have to request it from them.
Once you have the above, pay for the transfer and intiate it. You should receive two emails, one from the new registrar and one from the previous. They contain instructions as to how to complete the process.

Another reason I recommend Namecheap is the live support.

This is pretty much the process that you'll need to follow with most
registrars. With places like Godaddy and Wild West, you can get the Authorization Code very easily. There is a link within the domain details that says something like Email Authorization Code or Send Authorization by Email.
Make sure to unlock your domain and double check the contact info(especially the e-mail address) to ensure that it is correct.

You will need to go to the new registrars site, where you intend to transfer

The whole transfer usually takes 5 days...but it varies from registrar to registrar. your domain, and pay for the domain using the "Transfer Domain" link.

ICANN restricts transfers of domains within 60 days of registration. Some registrars also restrict transfers within 15,30,45 or 60 days of the domain being "pushed" into your account.
