I bought a couple of sites but I have no idea how to "move them to my server". Can someone tell me? I've contacted my host and asked them but they said to ask someone else. It's $12.00 just to ask the people they wanted me to ask & another $15.00 for their services and it's not guarenteed they know how to do it.

Does that hosting provide any backup tools, try them if not then manual procedure.

    download that site using FTP.
backup the DB Server if any and download the SQL script.

on your hosting server create account for this site if you are using any control panel, other wise do what you are used to :D

upload the site on your server
    create the database.
    update configuration files if any.

    and enjoy the new location.

I always wondered about this too.

If I sell a site, how am I going to "send" it to the buyer?
