Hi I wish to transfer a large sum (~500-600$) to my sister's paypal account (who lives in US) from my own indian verified paypal account. Will there be any problem? Also, once she recieves the money, can she withdraw it to her US bank or use for online shopping. Actually I am shifting to US next week for higher studies and hence I wish to transfer the money. Once I reach there I will also try to add a US bank account to my paypal account and see if I can electronically transfer. Awaiting response urgently. Regards,
I think there is no problem at all. you can send money anywhere in the world through your paypal account to any other paypal account.
where she created account ? some time the new ips may be problem if she opened pp in india and received money in other country with same pp account. normally yeah u can send without problems ( if your account is premium then u can send mass pay )
Normally you can send it without any problems. Due to recent updates of PayPal in India You inquire it in paypal office over phone.
Hi all Thanks a lot for your replies! UPDATE: I was easily able to transfer 500$ from my Indian Paypal account to US paypal account. And the transferred money has also been successfully used for online shopping. That means, even if our withdraws are limited to cheques, the money in our accounts is still usable. Cheers!
