I have a wordpress blog that I have gotten a Cease & Desist because of the domain name, I am needing to get everything switched to a new domain (which I have already cleared with the people who are wanting to shut down my other site). I want to keep the site structure the exact same as well as importing all posts from the old blog into the new one. This is a 10mb xml file and happens to time out when transferring the information. I need all of the redirects done correctly so when someone directs from an old link the automatically get redirected to the new page thats the same on the new site. PM me with prices and timeframe. 10mb xml??? wordpress use mysql to store data..... also..if you only need change the domain...you do not need to move your website...just do some setting at your domain dns.
Wordpress has an export option as XML to make it easier for less experienced users. But if you get to keep the domain name, then I would just change the script location (Make sure you point your new domain's DNS) and then have someone write an .htaccess redirect for the old domain. Also, keeping the permalink structure the same will make it easier too. I can do it, if you want to shoot me a PM.

K, so the guy I chose to do it seems to be put off by the fact that I am going to have to relinquish the domain we would be switching from (its part of a trademark infringement thing but they have agreed to redirect my site traffic). So I need a new site to take the place of the old site (including on my godaddy shared hosting because the old site is my primary domain) I will give you accounts and passwords for everything. I just need a new site set up to be exactly like the old one in wordpress and then a new .htaccess file written for the new owner of my site to redirect my traffic to the same site structure.
