Transfer of Domain name from Register.com

    Does anyone knows how long does it take before my newly registered domain could be transferred out out register.com to another registrar?

    Appreciate your help, thanks.

    i'm not 100% sure but i was reading on a forum the other day that you cannot transfer from register.com within 60 days.

    Thanks this is what I needed, I had tried the free domain offer of register.com looks ok, they even allow you to generate the auth code, now trying to see if I can transfer out easily. The renewal costs of register.com is quite prohibitive.
