Get the EPP code for your domain from godaddy
You just need to enter the EPP code in your new registrar while requesting for transfering the domain.

Also becuase the registrant is set as different person will this effect me being able to add it to my fxdomains.com account, or will i need to change the registrant details to my details first before i send it over?

Click on your domain name then click on 'Authorization Code: Send by Email' . Your EPP Code will be sent to you via email.

EPP Code and Authorization Code is the same thing.

Why not save yourself the hassle and get the person your pushing the domain name to, to signup with godaddy and just initiate an account transfer?

My customer is a very strange one and doesnt know anything about computers let alone setting up her credit cards details with godaddy. I also have a problem with paying for the domain in godaddy with my paypal account when i do the upgrade it goes to a section where i need to enter my credit card details within paypal first which is very strange. I do not use credit card just have a paypal acount only.

Ideally my options are very slim at them moment, I need to send the domain to fxdomains.com where my other domains sit, but i am considering opening a new fxdomains.com account or sitting the domain on my account with me being the registar.(not her)

Please give me some useful feedback on this, I appreciate everyones help on this...

Your the seller, you set the rules. They don't need a credit card, you just have to push the domain to their account in godaddy. Don't make more work for yourself ;)

The problem I have is the domain is already in godaddy, i need it in my fxdomains.com account so I can take care of paying for the domain. Should I open up a new fxdomains.com acount to have their domain sit in? or can I send it to my exsisting acount there, but becuase they are the registrar do i need to change the registrar details from the godaddy acount to my name first before i send it over to me? or if i send it to a new account can i than leave them as the registrar?

After clicking OK, you need to confirm again before your get that email.

Otherwise review your spam inbox or change your administrative email. If your email belongs to a ISP, Godaddy would probably has it blocked due to spam.

I faced this issue once
