Transfer from SMF to PHP BB Gold

    Anyone knows how to transfer from SMF to the new PHPBB Gold? Or is there any migration tools for that?

    In this case, phpBB3, I assume?

    There is a migration tool available at phpBB.com, if I remember this correct.

    There should be some sort of tool, however basically you need to backup up the forum database. Install the phpBB software then restore the database there. Its all in the admin panel, be carefull not to deleted anything. :)

    Not really. You cannot restore a database from another BB software like that, you would use a migration tool in order to do so.
