Transfer Expiring Domain

    I have a few domain expiring from namecheap and I want to transfer it to godaddy. What would be the CONS and PRONS? Aside from it are there any additional charges since I'm transferring an expiring domain?

    do you mean expiring (approaching the anniversary of registration date) or expired as past said date?

    As far as I know you can't transfer expiring domain.

    You need to transfer it at least 15 days in anticipation to the renewal date.

    i had successfully completed transfers initiated couple of days before and finished few days after the renewal date (since it takes 5 days for registrar to approve
