Why are you transferring to namecheap? Is it because it is cheaper? How about the renewal?

My only registrar is GoDaddy and 1&1 so I only know how to transfer to and fro. But in GoDaddy community, there are steps and FAQ about domain transfers.

    yes, you can
just get the Authorization Code - it's a link on your domain information page, click on it and they send it automatically to your email
once you have it, go to another registrar and fill up what they ask for the transferring

i think domain transfer process at godaddy not so much different with other registrars else.
Just unlock your domain and get the authorization code...
-> check full explanation at godaddy support website.

I'm with you saurabhx, Godaddy sucks big-time. They seem to go out of their way to fill every single screen with a mind-blowing array of promotional junk, and making it as confusing as possible to actually achieve anything. I've just done a transfer out now, and it took nearly 30 minutes for me to find the link to click on for a quick transfer, mentioned in the email they sent. It was nowhere even close to where they said it was in the email. Just sheer luck and determination that I found it.

    Toby,
Transferring out of GoDaddy is a bit tricky:
    - Go to DomainsByProxy.com and cancel your privacy (if privacy is enabled on the domain). The transfer won't go through if you have privacy enabled.
    - In Godaddy Domain Management, Unlock the domains you want to transfer.
    - Get the authorization code. This is what you need to enter at Namecheap to start the transfer.

Namecheap has really good live chat if you need someone to walk you through it.

Just get your EPP Code from Godaddy and find namecheap for the transfer and they will help you on it .

Yes you can do. Go to your control pannel and check details at domain name transfer option.
