Transaction rejected why?

I have verified paypal account.I have added hdfc add on credit card successfully.But still while purchasing some things online is big problem.I am unable to pay them.The message displayed like this "We were unable to verify your credit or debit card. To proceed with your purchase, please select a different payment method or add a different credit or debit card, then click Continue." . I registered for master secure code ,even after registering it is rejecting my CC.

Well from your bank you seems to be an Indian, and for purchasing online from India through PayPal you need to have funds in your PayPal account and you can't send them directly from your CC. You can upload funds to your PayPal account through your credit card and when they are shown in your account, then can goahead with your purchase.

i have funds in paypal even through i am rejected and i can't change source of funds to paypal balance because it is subscription.

 

Maybe you have insufficient funds on your paypal

I guess you should cancel this subscription and issue a new one. Try with that.

 

When did this happen, i have been using to directly pay from my credit card through paypal account without any problem, this issue of being rejected with payments has been faced by me also, that is when either you have changed your address or telephone no. or some details which needs to be matched with your credit card, either it is changed at the Credit card end or at paypal end, check properly, it might be a small issue

 

This issue has cropped since yesterday. Values of less than $10 go through, but any payment for values above $10 through HDFC cards is not being accepted by Paypal. I had this issue yesterday. My Netsafe card valued at $50 was declined while 5 netsafe cards for $10 each were accepted by Paypal.. absolutely stupid!

 

This is becuase of latest RBI instructions to banks in India. Now none of the transaction on any credit card issued in India can be made bypassing Verified by visa or mastercard sourcecode. Transaction up to 500 Rs INR can be made only without passing VBV/Mastercard sourcecode system.

 

That's weird, I was generating netcards based on the Verified by Visa source code, so how come the limit on transaction value of $10??

 

did anybody make payment of more than $10 with hdfc bank credit card?
