    Hi all.
    I have been happily translating some of my static pages to "extend my reach" I have started with 4 languages. French, German, Chinese and Japanese. All has been going well and I have had a big increase in traffic. (Mainly from Germany)
    But I have just had a sinking feeling come over me!:( Have I been setting up the page encoding and translating the right way?

    On the pages that I have been translating to Chinese, I have set in Dreamweavers page properties Title/encoding to Chinese Traditional (Big5) and also adding this meta tag
    <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="zh-cn" />
    Code (markup):
    . Using Babble fish I translate from English to Chinese-Trad.
    Anyone know if I have done this right? Or Should I have used the simplified one?

    Also I have used the meta tag
    <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="ja-jp" />
    Code (markup):
    and in the Dreamweaver page properties I have set Japanese (EUC) for my Japanese pages.. There is the Japanese (Shift-JIS)... Should I have have chosen that one instead? I hope I got them right!

    Any info or advice appreciated.

    Cheers
    James
