Tranferring a blog after the DNS propagates to a new server?

I sold a Wordpress blog and basically the buyer attempted to move the blog to his servers so he changed the DNS to his own servers. The problem is the MYSQL database needs to be moved also, but I had no idea it was being moved so I didn't download it.

Can it still be transferred or should the DNS be changed back so I can download the files?

    Thanks

just take it back to the old Name server... and download import/export XML file... and change it to new DNS ..and upload it again... no need of sql here

Yeah if I'd have known about changing the DNS beforehand it would have been easy to download the files first. But I was just wondering if it could be done with IP adress. Oh well, I think he's changing it back now.

    Thanks
