I was wondering an estimate on traffic as in how much traffic do you need to earn lets say $100. I know it all depends on clicks and how much your keywords pay but anyone know an estimate?

You said it yourself, depends upon clicks and how much the keywords pay...two variables which vary so greatly that a response would be such a wide range of value so as to render it pretty much useless. Why don't you keep track of your own stats for a month or so so that you can get a feel for what YOUR site, YOUR keywords, YOUR clicks are, and then do an extrapolation from that...and then double it.

Based on your current stats, you can estimate it. How would you expect someone who doesn't have access to your stats to predict?

No I am not saying predict my stats I was saying how much do you think as far as an estimate to make $100 as far as with the average CPC. I don't know of a way of calculating that exactly

You need to input some data, to get results. Are you asking just for calculations?

Look up AdSense Earnings Estimator and you should find some great resources on estimating your adsense earnings. There are also adsense calculators and such. I'll be adding these resources to my wiki soon.

    This depends on:
    - origin of the traffic
    - niche
    - ad placement & blending

    $100 a day or monthly?

I answered a similarly vague question earlier; do a search! In either case, your answer follows below.

Since your question is rather vague, my calculations will be completely arbitrary. Nevertheless, once you get the idea - you can do the calculations yourself. Assuming you have a CTR (click-through-rate) of 3%, and each click derives you 8 cents on average (EPC: earnings-per-click), here is how you would calculate an approximate figure of impressions:

    Desired Income: $100/month
    Assumed EPC: 8 cents (0.08)
    Assumed CTR: 3 percent (3%)

    Desired Income ($100) / Assumed EPC ($0.08) = # of Clicks Required (1250 clicks)
    # of Clicks Desired (1250) / Assumed CTR (0.03) = # of Impressions Required (41,667 impressions)

Based on these calcuations, 41,667 impressions should do the job. I hope this helps! :)

As someone else said, plug your stats into excel and extrapolate your OWN data - this will give you a much better estimate.
