when you say traffic, you mean:
- a lot of traffic to have good statistics
- quality traffic which can convert ?

The best ways to get real free traffic that converts is SEO , you can try social media traffic too but I think that seo is the best option .
Try to find low competition keywords ( those are easy to rank ) then start building high quality backlinks to your website then wait few months and you will see great results ..

Free traffic takes time at least it's not so easy to get like few years ago. Try and start from somewhere. Content needs to be done good on page, off page, distribution on social media channels and also don't think you will get the traffic overnight. Have patience and don't lose faith. Are you looking for free or paid traffic?

Free will take time unless you really keyword optimize your content on your website/blog, forum marketing, article marketing, etc.
Paid will get you traffic quicker. Recommend Solo Ads (need to find great vendors), Google Adsense, Facebook, etc.

I'm doing both at the same time and free takes time, paid traffic is quicker.
