I think contents r important.If ur contents r good,that will get much traffic.But the kind of site depends on the contents.U should think about what kind of site u wanna make then u figure out the contents
Well, there's no point in having a site if you don't have traffic. But you won't get and keep the traffic if you don't have decent content. The best number of pages for a site is as many as you can generate with good, well-written original content. And not a single page more.
Start with traffic. Your traffic (readrospects) will determine the type and quantity of content you need to make the sale.
I agree that fresh original content is what must be focused on for attracting and keeping decent traffic to website.
What I do is make your visitor as your user first with the quality contents on your site. Second, make them addicted to your site and create fresh and creative contents for you! But it depends on yourself how to achieve that
