My site with only 30-50 hits a day and 2-4 clicks was earning $2-$3 per day, now i am getting around 2-300 hits per day, and only 1 click/avg $.18 per day. Am i doing something wrong or is this normal. What can i do to better this situation. All advice is appreciated.

This is quite normal. Enjoy your 18 cent clicks while they last :)

More indexed pages in Google usually means more traffic. Higher SERP always means more traffic.
For pages you need original content. For higher SERP you need backlinks. Easy as that :)

Has your traffic become less targetted? What else has changed? Your click through rate has gone from about 10% to 0.5%.

Thanx Zexy! Good advice. Perhaps my site has become less targeted. I will look into ways of providing better original content, or just more of it.
