Sitemeter is also quite good, but to be honest Statcounter has everything you need for a blog. If you need a bigger visitor log just upgrade to the paid version.
I would recommend mybloglog.com. It counts visitors, referring urls, tracks outgoing clicks. It is also a social site which allows you to build a community around your blog
thanks for all answers I use Google analytic too for blogs from blogspot But for wordpress blog I can't use it - I don't have an access to template as in the blogspot In mybloglog.com I can't add my blogs from blogspot Are you know some universal tool that can use for all variations of blogs?
Google Analytics works very well for me, but I also use the free version of MyBlogLogs to track my three registered communities: http://www.mybloglog.com/buzz/community/thearticlewriter/ http://www.mybloglog.com/buzz/community/autowriter/ http://www.mybloglog.com/buzz/community/corporateflightattendants/ Stats are not live with the free offer, but you can look at traffic for the most recent five days. If you want to upgrade, that will cost you $25 per community. Take my advice: track your stats with Google Analytics but sign up for MyBlogLog to connect with other bloggers and to increase your traffic flow.
